Im a mechanic by trade.Boss recommended i try this over blue devil.

My 2005 honda civic ex (beautiful car)(my first nice vehicle ive ever owned) had a very minor cracked head gasket. By minor i mean i added water every two weeks, checked it weekly. 1.7l s are notorious. Flushed system.

Followed directions to the T. Even set a timer. Used half a bottle. The bottle says leave in system so i left it in system.

Replaced cap and thermo so some drained out. Drove fine the rest of the day. No leaks. Got up next morning to pick up parts, drove 20mins to parts house.

Started home and 10 minutes in car shut down turning on cut thru road. Threw coolant temp code p0155, radiator blew in seam. So it gummed the sensor. Sensor didnt read right.

Pressure built up. Its a honda..... you just blew my motor up.... thanks bars.

You destroyed my baby and theres nothing i can do about it. Today my 1995 toyota tercel(my first car at 16) my only source of transportation now (27) did the exact same thing, 16valve 1.5l. Guess where i had put the other half of my bottle of sealer? Havent torn it down yet but i believe i know what the culprit was.

Car never ran hot.

Threw coolant temp.P0155
